Since the acquisition of Shavlik Technologies by VMware in May of this year, the integration focus has been on leveraging the increased capacity and capabilities available through VMware’s standard global infrastructure, to the benefit of our customers.
One of the first steps in the larger transition process is to perform a conversion of phone and network systems to VMware's standard infrastructure. We are excited to announce this conversion will take place beginning 12 noon CST on Friday, November 18, 2011 through 7 am CST on Monday, November 21, 2011. During this time, we have arranged for normal phone and email technical support to remain available.
As always, our concern with any operational change is to make it as transparent to our customers as possible. We have prepared a conversion plan to ensure a smooth transition and also have a contingency plan as backup to avoid any disruption of support access. We appreciate that phone and network access to our support team is critical to your business, and have planned that these changes must ensure you receive the highest level of technical support experience as always.
