  • Data Analyst I
  • This position will be responsible for data extraction, collection, analysis, and storage from databases or information systems to support the company's growing base of applications. This position owns the business process for maintaining and keeping the datasets up-to-date that could be comprised of patch data, spyware data, desktop application data, and other security related data. This position works directly with a wide variety of project teams and project data sets. Position will Acquire, analyse and test various data samples which relate to computer security. These activities primarily focus on the areas of UNIX software patch deployment.

    • Monitoring industry innovations
    • Regular interaction with customers, prospects & partners
    • Support beta and pilot programs
    • Writing & interacting with development on the stories/requirements for product releases

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 3+ years of data analysis and Unix or Windows administration experience.
    • Data analysis skills to extract, collect, merge, manipulate, transform, test and create datasets.

    Strong plus points:

  • Experience with UNIX BSD and SYS V; AIX; HP-UX; Solaris; Linux
  • Experience with DB, SQL, XML.
  • Prior computer security experience.
  • Experience in responsibility for a business process for data maintenance.

  • Customer Product Owner
  • This position is responsible to work with the Director of Product Management to define detailed requirements (i.e. agile stories) for the development team to implement in to our product releases. The position involves working with developers in a scrum environment, as well as close interaction with end-users to understand their needs. A technical background in the area of IT server/PC life cycle or endpoint security management is highly desired. Job duties include gathering requirements from prospects, partners, and customers, writing stories/requirements, and assessing partner or competitive technologies. The customer product owner’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

    Qualifications:

    • A BS in Engineering or Computer Science preferred with a minimum requirement of BA or BS in math, engineering, business, or other relevant degree.
    • The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the software technology industry and have a good understanding of the process needed to develop and bring a product to market.
    • Seasoned judgment should have been obtained through relevant industry experience preferably in PC/Server life cycle management and/or IT endpoint protection.
    • Must be adept at working with different departments in the organization, customers, and partners.
    • Must be willing and able to travel for customer meetings, etc. (10-20% max.)
    • Must have demonstrated ability to effectively communicate customer requirements
    • Must possess highly developed organizational, follow-up and facilitation skills.

  • QA Analyst I
  • This position will execute test plans for software development projects. The analyst will be responsible for product quality control.

    Responsibilities:

    • Execution of test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software products. Tasks include clarifying requirements, understanding design decisions, writing or modifying test scripts, configuring virtual systems for testing, logging test results, providing feedback to Engineers and reporting on testing progress
    • Participating in test plan reviews.
    • Responsible for identifying, entering, tracking, and verifying defects encountered during testing.
    • Provide analysis including clarifying requirements, understanding design requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field required or equivalent experience.
    • 1+ years of industry experience including networking experience in a related industry.
    • Experience with test tools and utilities.
    • Knowledge of Windows applications, including Microsoft Office Products.
    • Some knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Software Development methodologies.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work within teams but also independently.
    • Ability and desire to learn new technical skills and technologies.
